Yellowstone National Park (08/2008) : In August 2008, Dave, his dad Mike and I went to Yellowstone National Park. It is a huge park and there is a lot to see. Since we were coming from Montana,we went through the North Entrance. First, we explored the Mammoth Hot Springs area, then we walked around the Norris Geyser Basin and for the first night, we stayed at the Old Faithful Lodge. The next morning, we watched Old Faithful Geyser and we saw a lot of bisons close to Canyon Village. We all had a fabulous time. Jackson Hole (08/2008) : We stayed 2 nights in Jackson Hole and had a great time. On Friday, Aug 29th which marked the 3-year anniversary of Katrina, we attended the New Orleans All Star Jam-baylaya. What a surprising treat in the middle of Wyoming! "The Jam-baylaya's ultimate aim, snaking its way from the Democratic National Convention in Denver all the way to the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis was to unite the country, despite party lines, in a common goal and understanding that there is still a great need to continue rebuilding the gulf coast, specifically the ever diminishing wetlands that naturally protect the state, its people and wildlife." http://tipitinasfoundation.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=Page.ViewPage&PageID=482
