Tourist attractions in Houston (03/2009) : During our long week-end in Houston, we did a lot and saw many interesting places.

1) Rice University (walk around campus under beautiful oak trees):  www.rice.edu

2) While driving around River Oaks, we decided to visit Bayou Bend Gardens which are the generous legacy of Miss Ima Hogg. Contrary to popular belief, Ima did not have a sister named Ura.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ima_Hogg

3) We walked around the Menil Collection. I really liked the Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum and the Rothko Chapel.

Rodeo in Houston (03/2009) : In March 2009, we went to Houston for a long week-end in order to visit family. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, also called Rodeo Houston, just opened  so we decided to go. It is the world's largest livestock exhibition as well as the world's largest rodeo event. We all had a great time!

In March 2009, we went to Houston for a long week-end in order to visit family. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, also called Rodeo Houston, just opened so we decided to go.
