That road is closed to private cars so the traffic (free shuttle) is very light. Hiking around Sedona (Nov 2007) : Hiking around Sedona's main attraction, the Red Rocks, was great. Many of Hollywood's classic westerns were filmed in or near Sedona. There is a specialized New Age tourist industry in Sedona, where the "Harmonic Convergence" was organized by Jose Arguelles in 1987.
