Tea Fire (Nov 2008) : The "Tea" fire broke out at approximately 5:50 p.m. on November 13, 2008. Strong winds were blowing in all directions and the fire spread at an amazing speed. Many residents on Mountain Drive had to flee as fast as they could. The following photos were taken on November 28 after a rainy day.

Arlington West in Santa Barbara, 09/2006 : Every Sunday morning, volunteers from Veterans for Peace (Santa Barbara) show the tragedy of Iraq war through "Arlington West" (a small white cross for every soldier killed). Santa Inez Valley & Solvang (03/2006) : Dave et moi adorons la Vallee de Santa Inez (petites routes calmes a travers la campagne, vraiment ideales pour faire du velo). Lors de la visite de mes parents, nous y sommes alles 2 fois car eux aussi ont beaucoup aime ce coin de Californie. Ils ont deguste du vin californien, fait des achats a Solvang et decouvert les differents elevages (autruches, chevaux miniatures, bisons...) Dave and I love the Santa Inez Valley (small roads without traffic, ideal for biking). During my parents' visit, we went there twice because they really liked that area too. They tasted some California wines, did some shopping in Solvang and liked visiting some different farms (ostrich, miniature horses, bisons...)
