This year, the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition (SBBC) has been offering different opportunities for bike education to SBHS students such as:
joining the Ride on the Wild Side (event organized by EDC), being on stage at Bike World (Earth Day), becoming safer riders on the road (Street Skills Clinics), Earn-A-Bike (beach cruisers donated by Wheel Fun Rentals) and participating in CycleMAYnia events (Cyclocross, Bike Fashion Show, Bike from Work and Film Fest)
The lastest project is a DIY bike repair offered to everybody on campus on Thursdays: 3:00-5:00PM (gate is open on Nopal Street).
Tools and expertise from Bici Centro mechanics are provided for FREE.
Bici instructors are looking forward to starting again in the Fall.
