Alpine Loop Ride (Nov 2007) : In November 2007, we rode our mountain bikes on the small section of the Alpine Loop Ride that was open. We stopped to take photos of the ghost towns along the way (Mayflower Mill, Howardswille & Eureka). In the Summer, it would be fun to ride the entire loop. Mountain biking around Durango (Nov 2007) : We enjoyed staying in Downtown Historic Durango, close to the train station. We also did a great ride mountain biking from Horse Gulch Road (Meadow loop, Stacy's loop, Cuchillo).
